As a third-generation pastor, he graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a degree in Ministry. During his college years, he played football all four years, serving as team captain and chaplain in his senior year—a role that blended athletic discipline with spiritual leadership.
Before stepping into senior pastoral leadership, Pastor Shaden dedicated five years to youth ministry, serving three years in Kansas City, Missouri, and two years in Woodland Park, Colorado. These experiences deepened his heart for guiding the next generation in faith.
He is happily married to his wife, Gianna, and together they seek to model Christ-centered family life.
Pastor Shaden’s ministry focus is clear and biblical: to seek the lost, make disciples, and grow the saints in their walk with Christ. He is guided by his favorite verse, Proverbs 16:9: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.” This truth reminds him—and our congregation—that while we make plans, it is ultimately the Lord who directs our path.
